 This
is what we started with. It was pretty nice back
in 1984, but not today. It is simply cold and
stark and what we call 'builder grade' meaning the
builder of the house usually uses the cheapest and
most generic fixtures and tiles they can find in
order to keep on budget.
 To
do it right, it called for a complete tear-out
down to the studs. With a blank canvas, we could
relocate and upgrade the plumbing and install a
new state of the art whirlpool tub and custom
tiled his and hers shower with a vertical spa that
has four body jets.
We removed the old flower planter and replace it
with a custom built tiled shelf alcove for keeping
bathing essentials close at hand. The shelf is a
custom ordered bronze colored tempered glass
shelf.
The
new shower has a built in bench, custom tile
patterns and double shower heads for his and her.
It also has a new vertical spa with 4 body jets.
This master bathroom becomes a personal oasis from
the rest of the world. When time allows the
whirlpool jetted tub is available for long soaks
and relaxation. When time is short or you are
looking for more invigoration the shower with
multiple body jets is available.
All
new doors and wood work combined with new lighting
and new in-wall speakers, lots of custom details
all combine to create a wonderful master bath
retreat/spa.
