Porcelain tile shower, with Euro-style
glass
|
More
and more customers are exploring the
unique features of adding a steam
shower to their
bathrooms.
Tom wanted an elegant shower design,
something that made a statement
while still being refined. We
accomplished his goals by using a
custom design that clipped the
corners of the shower to avoid any
boxy look. We kept the tile uniform
throughout but varied size and
pattern to create a pleasing
arrangement that is different, yet
not busy.

A
unique touch to this steam shower is a
water-jetted transom. This transom is
used to let steam out during and after
use, however this one was cut by an
industrial water jet and hinged for a
unique look and function.

You can see from the before pictures
what a transformation this project was |

Before
The rough framing is started
After - pure elegance

Before
You can see from this angle the dominance of
the bathtub in the room. The customers
rarely used the jetted tub, and where very
typical in their desire to focus more on the
shower.

In progress
You can see the careful construction
drawings on the wall for our employees to
follow step by step.
Nothing is left to chance on our projects,
as they say the Devil is in the details. We
believe in being
organized from the start to ensure a smooth
project that completes on time and as
planned
After
This
angle - you can see the change to the
bathtub, it's still a part of the room but
it no longer dominates the layout. The
reduction of the bathtub also allowed us to
fullfil another of the items on the
customer's wish list - more cabinetry, more
counter top space and more useable storage.
