Combining new and old elements in a master bathroom remodel

Matt and his wife wanted to do something different when it came to their bathroom renovation for their master bathroom. They were interested in bringing some older styled features into the mix and combining them with modern, easy to maintain upgrades.

We installed a furniture grade cabinet instead of typical cabinetry made up from standard vanity cabinet boxes, granite counter top and brushed nickel wide spread faucets. Installed also were two individual wall mounted medicine cabinets with matching portfolio lights.

The shower and bathtub area combine old school white subway tiles with modern glass and stone decos, including tiling the entire tub face with decos. Floor tile is a porcelain tile that looks just like slate but has none of the maintenace issues of slate. Modern frameless shower glass gives the shower a clean and open feeling.
