We
do a lot of work in the Highlands
Ranch area, updating those builder
grade bathrooms that are so common
there. If you live in the area you
know the look -- 4 inch white
ceramic tile, carpet on the front of
the bathtubs, carpet on the bathroom
floors, the oak cabinets that are
too low, the wall to wall mirrors
and soffited light banks over the
sinks. Janet and Tom wanted to
upgrade the looks of their bathroom
without a total remodel. So we kept
the original jetted tub, but changed
out the roman tub filler, retiled
the deck and bathtub back splash and
refaced the front with
new raised panel cabinet door
faces. The center door is removable
for access to the jetted pump.

Tom and Janet picked out a really beautiful
porcelain tile that looks a lot like marble.

We
enlarged the shower quite a
bit, added a seat in the
corner, a shampoo niche in the
back wall. Euro style glass
without a frame really makes
the shower stand out and gives
it a nice open feeling. The
counter tops were upgraded to
granite with undermount
sinks.
New paint finished out the
remodel. |
