Guest Bathroom Remodel

The only thing that was kept from the original bathroom was the old tub. It was the right color and the condition was pretty good. We hired a bathtub repair service to color match some chips and scratches and it looked brand new again.

A new tile floor set at on a diagonal pattern within a boarder made the room feel larger and anchors the new solid cherry double vanity. The tub now has a updated 12x12 tile surround complete with a soap dish alcove, a nice listello pattern and an additional shelf in the back wall for shampoos and such.

Built into the wall is a new towel shelf to hold a few extra guest towels that you can see to the right of the towel ring on the wall.

New fixtures and sinks, a tiled vanity top and a custom built mirror to match the vanity add the finishing touches. Not much of the configuration of the bathroom is different, however the updating of the tile, the surround, the cabinets and fixtures makes all the difference.
