A Second Bathroom Remodel

This was a typical second bathroom before we were hired to remodel it. A set of frameless bypass bathtub doors set on top of a new deeper bathtub from Kohler. The old tub was a typical shallow model in almond color.

The new bathtub surround is porcelain tile extending to the ceiling and incorporating some nice listello tile to create a decorative band at eye level to break up the wall.

The walls in this bathroom were covered in cedar planks. To get the walls back in shape required quite a bit of drywall work, but the end results were well worth the effort.

New cabinetry, a sink, a tile counter top and faucet replaced the old builder grade oak vanity and Formica countertop.

The old warped and split, water damaged hardwood floors were removed and new porcelain tile set on a diagonal was installed.
